St Mary & St Margaret’s bellringers have been planting bulbs at the grave of John and Lucy Williams in Castle Bromwich graveyard. It is thanks to this couple that the ring of six bells hangs in the church tower, and the bulbs were, appropriately, bluebells.
It is that time of year again. With only four weeks left to Christmas, Halls Garden Centre held their annual preview evening of the 20th November 2013. Attended by a large number of local customers from Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. The Open night was extremely busy, with people buying a range of things including artificial Christmas trees, miniature Santa's and Christmas decorations, gifts and toys.
Christmas at Hall's Garden Centre has always been a special time because it is a family run business with family traditions. We have always embraced Christmas going right back to the mid 1950's, and we have the memories to prove it.
