Christmas In Castle Bromwich Has Always Been Magical

Christmas in Castle Bromwich has always been magical. It has been on Santa’s radar for very many years, believe me! I was born and grew up in Castle Bromwich, a suburb 5 miles out of the centre of Birmingham attending the local Junior and Infants schools there. My parents, Gerald and Doris Hall had moved there after the war in the late 1940’s.

By 1952 they had established Hall’s Garden Supplies in the centre of Castle Bromwich and by the time I came along in 1955 they had 2 daughters, Susan and Mary.

Any fish in your pond should be quite active by now and you may be thinking of re-stocking. Alternatively, building a new pond might be in your plans this summer.

In any event, a visit to our Aquatics Superstore might be very worthwhile. You'll find everything you need, preformed ponds, liners and patio ponds together with tanks full of koi, shubunkin, orfe and goldfish.

It's difficult to imagine Sutton Coldfield town centre without the Gracechurch Centre and, as part of thecentre’s fortieth birthday celebrations, we are giving away a 10ft x 8ft workshop to a local deserving cause.

If you visit the centre there's a series of events from Friday 8th  – Sunday 17th August, centred around a 1970s themed exhibition. You can put on your white suit and take part in a Disco Dance class, groove to an Abba tribute act, take a 70s selfie and also win a fortnight's holiday in Benidorm.
